Multi-wavelength study on high-mass gamma-ray binaries Chen, Shangming High-mass gamma-ray binaries (HMGBs), consisting of a compact object and a massive main-sequence star, emit broad-band radiations from radio to gamma-rays. The energy spectra of HMGBs peak above 1 MeV, distinguishing them from well-known high-mass X-ray binaries (HMXBs). Here, I will briefly summarize the basic observational properties of detected HMGBs, and discuss our recent theoretical studies on the multi-wavelength emission mechanisms of these systems.
