Find new pulsars in Globular Clusters with the Fast Fold Algorithm
Li, Yaowei
The globular clusters, famous as pulsar factories, contain a large number of pulsars. Most of them are millisecond pulsars, but there are few long-period pulsars. The sensitivity of the fast folding algorithm (FFA) is higher than the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), especially for long-period pulsars. We used the FFA to search for partial observations of globular clusters within the FAST sky. With the FFA, we found a new pulsar in M13.
