FPS9 will be held in Xiamen Aqua Resort (五缘水乡酒店), which is located within the Wuyuan Bay Wetland Park (五缘湾湿地公园). The aerial view map of the venue is shown below. The hotel consists of several buildings, as labeled in the map. The LOC has reserved rooms for participants at the hotel. The guest rooms are distributed throughout Building No. 1, 2, and 3.
The Aqua Resort is conveniently located near the Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport. Participants can take a taxi to the hotel. The distance is ~ 8 km and the trip takes about 20 minutes, costing about 25 CNY (depending on traffic). The Xiamen Railway Station and Xiamen North Railway Station are ~ 20 minutes and ~30 minutes away from the hotel by taxi, costing ~ 30 CNY and ~ 60 CNY, respectively.

Xiamen known as Amoy, is a major city on the southeast (Taiwan Strait) coast of the People's Republic of China. It is administered as a sub-provincial city of Fujian province with an area of 1,699.39 square kilometers (656.14 sq mi) and population of 3.67 million. Xiamen University the first university in China founded by overseas Chinese. Established by Mr. Tan Kah Kee in 1921, the university was originally known as the University of Amoy. The school motto is “Pursue Excellence, Strive for Perfection”. The university is one of many comprehensive universities directly administered by the Chinese Ministry of Education. The university is ranked 11th in China and has maintained the top 20 ranking in China. Additionally, Xiamen University is considered to be one of the most beautiful campuses in China, and is a major tourist destination in Xiamen. Department of Astronomy is located at Haiyun campus (Zengcuo'an West Road).
